Survivor

“Love Beats Cancer!” I am the living example of this beautiful motto. I am a survivor. I am a walking miracle. I was diagnosed at age 39 with Non- Hodgkins Lymphoma Stage IV.

My precious girls were only 8 and 10 years old at the time.  I had to survive. With the enormous help of a superb MD, Dr. Scott Godfrey and incredible nursing staff at Kaiser San Diego, getting to be the 1st patient to participate in the CHOP/Rituxin clinical trail at Kaiser, the best family and friends anyone could ask for, 6 months of help with carpool, meals and house cleaning ( I had every negative side effect to chemo you’ve ever heard of), and tons of love and prayers… I SURVIVED! There is Hope! LOVE BEATS CANCER!
